was born November 09, 1886 in Sea Bright, New Jersey, and died May

He married ELFRIEDA
KUENSTLER
June 25, 1911 in Hudson County, New Jersey, daughter of ALBERT KUNSTLER and HEDWIG
BACHMANN.
She was born August 17, 1888 in Germany, and died June 15,
1969 in Pomona, California.

6-25-1911
George William Mount, a former resident of Sea Bright and Rumson,
died Friday at Los Angeles, California, at the age of 62 years. For
many years he was employed by the Packard Motor Car Company of New
York City, and in recent years was in charge of the firm's exporting
branch. He moved to California two years ago because of his health.
Mr.
Mount was born at Sea Bright, moving to Rumson when he was a boy.
One of his first jobs was in Zobel's bicycle shop at Sea
Bright Later he became an automobile mechanic, growing up with the
development of the electric and gas-fired vehicles. When he was in
his twenties he moved to New York to continue his work in the
automobile trade. In one of the Vanderbilt cup aces on Long Island
he rode as a mechanic for Louie Disbrow.
I researched Louie Drisbrow and went back 5 generations. His Ancestor John D. Drisbrow, was born 9-9-1757 in South Amboy, Middlesex, New Jersey. He had 7 children one of who is Nicholas Morgan Drisbrow. Nicholas Morgan Drisbrow had a sister, Hannah Drisbrow who Married a Richard Mount (1740-1787). Richard Mount is John's Great Great Grandfather who fought in the American Revolution.
It would appear as though the Mount's and the Drisbrow family watched out for one another., even though 200 years in time had passed. That's quite a dedication to family. I now wonder if George knew about his Great Great Great Grandfather Richard and his Great Great Great Grandmother Hanna.
